Refinement Rinoplasty

Rhinoplasty means a change in the shape of the nose. Two methods are possible. Open and closed appliances. Closed technique is carried out through the nostrils. There are no scars on the tip of the nose, and recovery time is faster. The operation time is shorter. Nasal sensations persist. An open technique is a small incision at the tip of the nose to remove the skin of the nose.

By changing the shape of the bone-cartilage tissue in the nose, the nose acquires a new aesthetic appearance. Aesthetic function should not be neglected. We must not move away from naturalness. In accordance with the skin and structure of the nose, a person needs to have nose surgery. The nose must be personal. Inverted and pointed noses can bother a person over time.

What Can Be Done When Planning Aesthetic Surgery?

First, a detailed intranasal examination of patients with refinement rinoplasty is performed to determine if there are breathing problems.

Subsequently, the nasal structures of our patients are illustrated from different angles, and aesthetic problems are discussed in these figures to minimize aesthetic problems. Since rhinoplasty is usually performed under general anesthesia, it is assessed using routine studies for performance.

What Are The Methods Of Nose Surgery With Refinement Rinoplasty?

The intervention and technique that must be performed in accordance with the problem of your nose with rhinoplasty are applied specifically for you.

As a rule, there are two techniques of refinement rinoplasty that we call open (with an incision of about 1 cm to the tip of the nose) and closed (with incisions stored in the nose without an incision outside the nose). Although these methods have advantages over each other, it is important that your doctor recommends that you solve your nose problem.

What Changes Can Be Made To Our Nose With Refinement Rinoplasty?

1- The shape of the tip of the nose can be changed, the low tip of the nose can be raised, the very high and pointed tip of the nose can be widened.

2- The shape of the nasal ridge, called the hump, can be changed, the high nasal ridge can be lowered with a rasp, or the low nasal ridge can be raised using grafts prepared from its own cartilage.

3- Large nostrils can be narrowed with some skin tissue that will be taken from under the wings of the nose and made compatible with your face.

4- The curved structure of the nose returns to aesthetic boundaries by re-centering the nasal bone and the cartilage graft supports. The long nasal structure can be shortened by rebuilding the cartilage and bone structures that cause it, or the short nasal structure can be lengthened by supporting cartilage grafts.

5- Not all rhinoplasties are performed for cosmetic reasons. By combining rhinoplasty and septoplasty and radiofrequency procedures of the lower shells in the same operation, bent bones in the nose, which cause nasal congestion and difficulty in the left side of the body, can be corrected in obstructions that cause flesh and snoring.

Refinement Rinoplasty Procedures

The most common aesthetic defects after refinement rinoplasty are small dorsal irregularities observed mainly in patients with thin dorsal nasal skin. Many methods have been used in these patients to prevent visible bumps and sharp edges of bone and cartilage.

Adipose tissue transplantation is widely used as a surgical method to correct superficial depression or enlarge soft tissues in aesthetic surgery.

Recently, it is considered a potential stem cell source with tissue regenerative ability and other benefits.
